An unexpected win for Campbellsā€¦

We were a little surprised recently when our Bobbie Burns Shiraz brought home a silver medal from the Great Australian Pie competition. Well strictly speaking Rutherglen’s Parker Pies had a fair bit to do with it to!

Back in May Campbells teamed up with local Pie King Fred Parker from Parker Pies and began offering the Bobbie Burns Shiraz Pie. The traditional beef pie contains premium local beef marinated with a good dollop of Bobbie Burns Shiraz. Fred commented that the Bobbie Burns Shiraz Pie is consistently one of his best seller’s, and the judges seemed to take a shine to it as well. And of course when pressed on what was best to serve with the Bobbie Burns Shiraz Pie, Fred didn’t have to think too hard about it….the 2004 Bobbie Burns Shiraz of course!
