We have received some fantastic accolades from the International Wine Challenge - London, The Decanter World Wine Awards and Matt Jukes Top 100!
Our star performer, Rutherglen Muscat, has received a GOLD medal at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) in London. The International Wine Challenge is the world’s largest and most prestigious wine show and this is the fourth time in this decade (2002, 2008, 2010 and 2011) that Campbells Rutherglen Muscat has won an IWC Gold Medal. The award is the pinnacle of international endorsements for this rich and complex dessert wine.
Comments from the IWC judges;
Campbells Rutherglen Muscat - Amber, walnut and marmalade. Rich caramel palate. Lively with a very long finish.
Also, our 2009 Bobbie Burns Shiraz has won a BRONZE medal at the IWC in its 40th vintage year with glowing comments from the judges;
Campbells Bobbie Burns Shiraz 2009 - Ripe redcurrant jam with lovely jammy spicy notes. Refined with good balance.
In addition to this our Rutherglen Muscat has received a GOLD medal, and our 2009 Bobbie Burns Shiraz has been commended at the 2011 Decanter World Wine Awards.
And to top it all off, Matthew Jukes has listed Campbells Classic Rutherglen Topaque in his Best Australian Wines of 2011. Matthew is wine correspondent for the UK’s Daily Mail and is read each week by over 9 million people he also writes wine guides in the UK and Australia, as well as being a wine buyer and internationally respected wine judge.

…Bathe your palate in this heavenly, indulgent Muscadelle. Lighter and more fragrant than some of the stunning Campbells Liqueur Muscats, this is a candied peel, almond paste and butterscotch-scented sticky and it is a delicious way to finish a dinner party. Bual-sized, but more openly floral this will be an instant hit at any gathering and it is stunning value, too. www.matthewjukes.com
Our Rutherglen Muscat is now in the running for the trophy in both the IWC and the Decanter World Wine Awards. We’ll keep you posted on the results!
