A very civilised Durif!

Durif is a Rutherglen specialty. This excellent example is typically full bodied but not as formidable as some. Blackcurrant, exotic spices, liquorice and clove like aromas meet the nose and it’s richly flavoured, with satisfying balance and a long liquorice perfumed finish. It’s ripe and complete, with surprisingly fine tannin in support. A very civilised Durif.
