"Matured 18 months in mix of new and 3yo French and American barrels. This release celebrates 50 vintages of Bobbie Burns. The wine is symbolic of the generosity and enduring style of Rutherglen shiraz, not to mention an upfront, honest approach to winemaking that lets the fruit sing. Incredibly consistent performer in ripe, spicy black fruits, dusty cocoa powder, earth and spice. Strong yet measured on the palate with fine, lithe tannins guaranteeing longevity. Brilliant wine for the price."- Jeni Port - 95 points
