The Bobbie Burns Shiraz 2023 was bottled yesterday, ready for our exclusive Cellar Club Member only release in April!
This wine will be officially released at our Bobbie Burns Dinner on Saturday May 17th.
This is the 54th consecutive vintage of the Bobbie and we look forward to enjoying a glass or two!
Our 2023 vintage is comprised of youthful, vibrant plummy fruit, yet still has the depth, structure and impact we would expect from a Bobbie Burns Shiraz, which will go the distance.
Fruit comes from nine of our separate Shiraz blocks, each yielding something special, adding synergy to the overall volume, carefully matured in new and used French puncheons for two years.

Harvest 2025 is almost here and our vineyard team have been busy preparing.
This vintage we welcome two causal Cellar Hands, Ava and Wayne, to assist the team.
The harvest will take approximately 10 weeks and begins this week.
The picking process will start at 4am, the coolest part of the day, to maintain the freshness and flavour of the grapes, and end around 8am each morning to begin with.
Our white varieties will be picked first including Chardonnay, Riesling, Moscato, then we will progress to the red varieties, commencing with our Light Dry Red and then rounding out the harvest with the picking of our cabernets.
Our grape harvester, Lucy 111, is raring to get back in action - bring on the Chardonnay!

Welcome Olivia!
Campbells is delighted to welcome Olivia Lee as our new Events Coordinator. Olivia brings a wealth of organisational experience and fresh ideas to the role. Prior to Campbells, Olivia worked as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager in Melbourne and has recently returned home to the Rutherglen region.

Impress your guests with this quick and tasty prawn appetiser. The flavour of rosemary will dance on the palate whilst you enjoy a beautiful glass of Campbells Rosé wine.
Keeping the flavours relatively simple helps to get the best out of your prawns and our wine.
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup olive oil
Four cloves garlic
500 grams medium-sized prawns
Two grapefruits
Five rosemary sprigs
Salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
- Strip the rosemary leaves from the stem and chop the leaves.
- Peel and de-vein the prawns.
- Season the prawns with salt and pepper.
- Toss the prawns in a zip lock bag with rosemary.
- Add the olive oil, chilli flakes, minced garlic, and grapefruit juice.
- Marinate for five minutes.
- Grill and cook until the prawns turn opaque, roughly one to two minutes each.
- Serve on its own or accompanied with your favourite sauce.

Nick Gardner joined Campbells Wines in 2024. He is a highly decorated chef who is now learning the art of winemaking. In 2013, Nick received the Good Food Guide Young Chef of the Year Award while working at the acclaimed Tetsuya’s Restaurant in Sydney. Nick then went on to work for hatted and Michelin star establishments in Australia and Europe throughout a 20-year culinary career.
