What's your role and how long have you been with the team?
I’m the Production and Logistics Manager, and I’ve been part of the team for nine years. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work across many aspects of the business. No two days are ever the same.
What's your favourite wine from our portfolio and why?
The Sixties Block. Not only is it a fantastic wine to drink, but it also has a unique story behind it.
What was the variety that made you fall in love with wine?
Shiraz.
It was the variety that first sparked my interest in wine and remains a favourite today. I love its richness, complexity, and versatility, whether enjoyed on its own or paired with food.
Do you have a go-to food and wine pairing recommendation?
You can’t go past a classic hamburger with the lot paired with a glass of Bobbie Burns Shiraz. The bold fruit flavours and structure of the Shiraz complement the savoury, hearty flavours of the burger perfectly.
What question do visitors ask you most often?
The question I hear most often is, “What’s your most popular wine?” Visitors are always keen to know which wines are customer favourites, and it’s a great conversation starter that often leads to discovering a new personal favourite of their own.
If someone visits our Cellar Door, what's one wine they absolutely must try?
Merchant Prince Rare Muscat. It has just been awarded Fortified wine of the year from The Real Review.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I enjoy playing a bit of golf whenever I get the chance. It’s a great way to unwind, spend time outdoors, and catch up with friends.
What is your favourite event at Campbells?
Post vintage staff party. After the hard work and long hours that go into vintage, it’s a great opportunity for the whole team to come together.
What's your go-to coffee order?
A strong latte.
