Welcome to the Spring edition of our Cellar Club News

It’s certainly been a busy couple of months here at Campbells. We have really enjoyed meeting up with so many of our Cellar Club members at our recent events, including the Bobbie Burns Dinner, Good Food & Wine Shows [Melbourne and Sydney], Winter Graze and our Cellar Club dinners and lunches.

Thank you for your ongoing support, it is very much appreciated. I would also like to thank our team at Campbells for their terrific work in delivering our events throughout the year.

In the coming months our Rosé, Amelie, Trebbiano and Shiraz Durif labels will have a brand new-look. This project has been in the pipeline for a while, and we are very excited to begin the launch. In this edition, learn what has motivated this refresh and how the heritage of Campbells Wines has been incorporated into the contemporary label designs, and what other Campbells wines are also heading for a new look.

I am delighted to let you know that we have welcomed three new full-time team members to Campbells. Lee our Cellar Door Manager, Nick our Assistant Winemaker and Izaac who will manage the winery’s maintenance. They each bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their roles, and we’re excited to have Lee, Nick and Izaac on the Campbells team.

We also have a new publicist, Sarah, who has secured some regular media coverage for Campbells. It was terrific to have Border Mail journalist, Jodie Burton, and media commentator, Steve Price, at the Bobbie Burns Dinner, and for them to share their positive experiences with their audiences.

Steve Price was also our guest judge for the ‘best knees in kilts’ competition at the dinner. We were thrilled with the effort all participants went to, including Steve in his kilt, it truly felt we were in the Highlands of Scotland.

This year our Bobbie Burns Dinner celebrated the release of the 2022 vintage of our Bobbie Burns Shiraz. We hope you took advantage of our exclusive member release period and secured your order of Bobbie before it was released to the public.

If you have visited the winery lately you may have noticed that we have installed a new frost fan. This fan is to help protect our vineyard to ensure we have a fruitful vintage in 2025. This has been an important investment for us as frosts are very damaging to our yields. We hope the frost fan can help save our crops in the late Spring when the buds are at their most vulnerable.

At Campbells we are always exploring new ways to provide extra benefits to our members, we welcome any feedback you have and hope you continue to enjoy your membership with us. We are only a phone call or email away for any queries or to have a chat over the phone.

It is always a great time to visit Rutherglen however Spring, after a cold winter, it is always an invigorating time here with the vineyard leaping into life and the sounds of vintage 2025 knocking on our gates…

Best wishes to everyone for the new season,
